The PFSA’s decision clinches the takeover of TU Zdrowie by the NEUCA Group
The consent of the Polish Financial Supervision Authority was the last prerequisite for the NEUCA Group to close the transaction of acquisition of the majority stake in Pomerania Investments, the sole shareholder of Towarzystwo Ubezpieczeń Zdrowie S.A.
“The PFSA’s positive ruling is a green light on the road to even faster growth for TU Zdrowie,” says Aleksander Roda, President of TU Zdrowie. “For 11 years, we have been growing independently, gradually building the company from scratch to reach a major position in the Polish health insurance market. From the very beginning, our primary goal for the company has been to build competitive advantages by offering top quality solutions to our Insured.”
The cooperation of TU Zdrowie with the NEUCA Group will be versatile, and will not merely come down to the strictly financial aspects. Already since April this year, the TU Zdrowie Insured have been enjoying telehealth care appointments arranged via NEUCA’s innovative system. In a recent satisfaction survey, customers pointed out a clear increase in the quality of service compared to previous providers.
“We have launched a few project groups that are already working on further prospective synergies within the Group. All these efforts will be consistent with our strategy of speaking about freedom of treatment and providing services at the top quality possible. We will make investments in a new electronic platform for occupational medicine, insured and policyholder panels, and IT solutions to link TU Zdrowie with medical facilities and the insured,” says Aleksander Roda.
Telemedicine solutions will allow the Insured to revisit the same doctor with whom they last discussed their condition. From the Insured’s Panel for computer or smartphone, they will check the availability of appointments by themselves, book an appointment date and time that suits them, and schedule an appointment with the doctor of their choice.
