Psychological support for Ukrainians with TU Zdrowie insurance
The Ukrainian nationals insured with TU Zdrowie are offered unlimited and cost-free psychological phone consultations. For them, we have activated a dedicated phone number for making appointments with psychologists, available in the Ukrainian, Polish and English languages.
- Our data shows that TU Zdrowie provides insurance cover to 1,100 Ukrainians employed in Poland. We are aware that even when they stay in Poland, they are very concerned about the fate of their relatives in Ukraine, where hostilities are continuing. To support them, we have launched psychological phone consultations provided in their native language - says Teresa Domańska, Director of the Health Insurance Office of TU Zdrowie.
Consultations for all the insured Ukrainians are unlimited and free of charge, independent of the insurance variant taken out by the employer. For those in need of support, we have launched a dedicated hotline at + 48 585 005 503, for scheduling appointments with a psychologist.
People who experience severe anxiety when they learn of a death or threat to their loved ones are at risk of developing Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), just like those facing imminent danger. They should receive psychological care. Lack of support and early intervention may result in social withdrawal, depression, and other emotional and psychological problems.
