New medical operator at TU Zdrowie
As of 1 June 2022, TU Zdrowie has been providing the scheduling of health services with Unimedi, a new medical operator. This change is designed to increase the quality of service for the insured, to make it possible to introduce modern telemedicine and IT solutions and to ensure greater control over the security of the system.
Year on year, the number of TU Zdrowie’s insureds is growing, and so is the number of services arranged via the helpline and the IT tools supporting the consultants’. In order to ensure that the insureds are enjoy smooth service and their enquiry is dealt with quickly, the system needs to be flexible and responsive even when there are a few hundred people connecting to it in an instant.
- Telemedicine and IT solutions play a very important role in the operation of our business. Until now, by using the solutions of an external operator, we have had limited influence on options to shape the service and have not been able to use its full potential. For this reason, we have started working on our own patient service system, which would give us full control over the process, and the quality of service, a factor that not only directly shapes the company’s image, but also has a direct impact on our business, would be exclusively up to us - says Slawomir Koszewski, TU Zdrowie board member.
The solution was TU Zdrowie joining the NEUCA Group. NEUCA, which built a comprehensive patient service system for many years, set up Unimedi to provide patients with efficient organization of services through the Medical Helpline and an IT platform supporting service processes.
- The new Medical Helpline marks another milestone in the expansion of TU Zdrowie. We are pursuing it in line with the announced strategy of building the company’s value by providing customers with the highest possible quality of service. The collaborative project with Unimedi is a very good example of the strength of cooperation within the NEUCA Group and the benefits it brings - says Aleksander Roda, CEO of TU Zdrowie.
It was only natural to transfer the organization and delivery of health services to Unimedi; it has allowed TU Zdrowie to safely develop a modern service which, by being embedded within the Group, allows it to be tailored to the Insurer’s current and future needs.
- What makes TU Zdrowie stand out is its total focus on health insurance and the high quality of its services. By constantly improving quality, we are expanding our customer base and extending our cooperation with existing customers. The new medical operator, who lets us shape the service fully in line with our strategy, is a great advantage and certainty for the delivery of our plans and, above all, full responsibility for the quality of service - adds Sławomir Koszewski.
Unimedi is fully adapting solutions already in use at TU Zdrowie, such as the Policyholder and Insured Panel, the Occupational Medicine Platform, and the IGA voicebot. Work is also well underway on a solution to integrate medical graphics across key medical facilities.
- Ultimately, we want the insureds to independently make appointments by using online doctor schedules or with the help of a voice assistant. The technology will also take over standard or repetitive tasks, delivering fast call answering and support to the insureds, thus ensuring efficient service. For more complicated situations, the insureds will always have access to the Medical Helpline team and be able to discuss their case with a specialized consultant - concludes Sławomir Koszewski.
The future of patient service is directly linked to the possibilities offered by modern technology. The change of operator to Unimedi is a big step into the future and a real benefit derived from the integration of NEUCA Group entities, the transfer of knowledge and know-how. It is also a major and very beneficial qualitative leap for the policyholders and insureds at TU Zdrowie.
